Tennis Fitness & Nutrition

Physical exercise was commended yet mostly left to the segment of the population that would either serve in the armed forces or have physically demanding jobs.  Societal changes, such as an ageing populace that is experiencing longer and healthier lives than their predecessors, have brought working out and overall fitness through exercise into the forefront of most everyone’s mind. 

Along with fitness most of us know that good nutrition is essential in helping us feel our best and reach our optimal health; finding time to eat a balanced diet on a daily basis seems a formidable task in this fast-paced, affluent society. Yet, though your life may be hectic, there are still many good tasting, healthy choices which can help you lose weight and improve your health.

We at the HCTA hope to provide you with some new ideas and some old ideas on how to improve both the nutrition and fitness part of your tennis life.
